My name is Sonya Henderson, and this is my first-year teaching at Concordia Christian School. I absolutely love teaching, and I have 26 years in private school experience. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th grades.

I was born and raised in Santa Barbara, and I have one brother and one sister. While living in Santa Barbara, I attended Santa Barbara City College and graduated with an Associates Degree. Later, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Azusa Pacific University. Finally, I finished my education by earning a Master’s in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University.
We will work together, and I will (with God’s help) will be here to guide you every step of the way.
